Steps to make Palak paneer:
  1. Wash and clean the palak leaves
  2. Soak the paneer cubes in hot water for 5 minutes.. This will make the paneer more soft.
  3. Soak the cleaned palak leaves in hot water for 3 minutes and then again soak the leaves in ice cold water for 3 minutes. This process will make the palak to retain it's colour and this process is called blanching.
  4. Stain the palak leaves from cold water and blend the leaves with ginger, garlic and green chilies to a smooth paste.
  5. Heat some butter in a pan, add in the spices and chopped onion and fry till the onions are transparent
  6. Further add the tomatoes and cook well
  7. Once the tomatoes are mushy, add in the turmeric powder and coriander powder and saute till the raw smell leaves.
  8. Now add in the palak puree, enough water for the gravy and let it boil in low flame.
  9. Once it started boiling, it's time to add the paneer cubes and give a good mix.
  10. Pour the fresh cream and some methi leaves..
