The ingredients needed to prepare Steamed Cake:
- Prepare 500 gms Hung curd
- Prepare 500 ml Condensed milk
- Take 50 gms Roasted broken cashew nuts
- Use 60 ml Fresh orange juice
- Take 1 cup Fresh orange pulp
- Prepare 1 tbsp Orange zest
- Prepare 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Provide as required Fresh raspberrie, black grapes, thyme & orange zest for garnishing
Instructions to make Steamed Cake:
- Mix hung curd & condensed milk together & beat well.You can use a mixie.
- Then pour the mixture into a mixing bowl.
- Add orange juice, orange pulp, orange zest, roasted broken cashew nuts & vanilla essence to it
- Give it a good mix.
- Grease a ring shaped mould with either white butter or clarified butter.
- Pour the mixture into the mould & tap a little in order to get rid of air bubbles if any.
- Cover the mould with an aluminum foil.
- Steam in a steamer for about 1 hour or 1 hour 20 minutes.
- Allow it to cool down & then keep in the fridge for minimum 2 hours before serving.
- I have decorated it with fresh raspberries,black grapes,thyme & orange zest.
