- Peel off the potatoes and wash properly. Cut into pieces and deep fry till get soft. Keep them aside, let them cool and mash them.
- Marinate the fishes with turmeric and salt. Fry the fishes well from both sides, let them cool. After few minutes separate the thorns by hands.
- Now in another pan heat some oil. Fry 1-2 red chillies and take them aside. Crush the red chillies.
- In same pan now add chopped onion, garlic and ginger. Fry them well till those get brown. Add mashed potatoes and fishes. Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar to taste. Give them stir. Now add crushed red chillies and chopped coriander leaves. After the mixture get ready make small balls and flatten the balls pressing by palm.
- To make a thin batter take besan and rice powder. Add salt, a pinch of turmeric powder, coriander leaves paste, Black cumin seeds and very little baking soda. Add required water and beat it well.
- Heat oil in a pan. Dip those flatten mixture and coat well and deep fry till nice golden brown.
