Instructions to make AlOO BESAN TARAKARI:
  1. In a big bowl add beasn, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, cumin seeds, carom seed, salt, coriander leaf, add one and half cup of water and make a thik paste.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and cook the basan paste to make a soft douhg by stirring it continuously to avoid any lumps.
  3. Now place the dough in a greased thali or tray, tap it gently to make it plain and smooth, keep aside to cool. After the dough cools down little, cut it in cube or diamond shape
  4. Now heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the besan cube. Place the besan cube on a plate lineing with tissue paper to drain the excess oil keep it aside for further use.
  5. Preparations for gravy: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadai, on medium flame and add cummin seed, black pepper, bayleaf, cardamom in it.
  6. When jeera started craking add chopped onion in it and cook till onoin becomes brown.
  7. Now add ginger garlic paste to it and cook for 2 to 3 min.
  8. Then add other powder masala to it..
  9. Cook for another 2 to 3 min.
  10. Now add tomatoes to it and cook until it gets soft and add salt according to taste
  11. When masala leaves oil add boiled potatoes to it and mix thoroughly.
  12. Now add two cups of water in it cover the kadai and cook for 5 min in medium flame.
  13. After 5 min open the lid and add the besan cube to the gravy and cook for more 5 min
  14. Now the besan aloo curry is ready, garnish it with coriander leaves and serves with Rice, Roti,Paratha or poori.
