- Firstly,get ready with all the masalas to grind. In a wok add one teaspoon oil and fry green chillies separately.
- In a grinding stone,add fried green chillies, fennel seeds,cloves and cinnamon and grind to coarse paste. To it add chopped onion,ginger and garlic and grind to smooth paste.
- Transfer the ground paste to a bowl.
- In another wok add a teaspoon of oil and fry coriander seeds for a minute. Keep it aside. Let it cool.
- Add grated coconut and grind coarsely by adding little water. To it,add cooled fried coriander seeds and grind to a fine paste as shown. Transfer and keep it in a separate bowl.
- Heat oil in a mud pot on a medium heat. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent. Add ground chilli paste mixture and saute until raw smell disappear. Now add chopped tomatoes and saute till tomatoes turn mushy and combines well withChilli paste.
- Add 1/2 kg meat(goat kid ( tender ones), turmeric powder and salt to taste. Mix well till meat turns pale in colour.
- Add four cups of water and cover the pot with a lid. Let it cook for 30 minutes on low heat.
- When it starts to boil well,stir occasionally. When the meat is well cooked add ground coconut coriander paste and mix well with little water.
- Let it cook for few minutes until oil starts to float above. Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves.
