The ingredients needed to cook Githeri mukimo:
- You need 3 cups Githeri
- Prepare 1 and a half kg kasuku of potatoes
- You need Salt
- Prepare Cooking oil
- Take Onions
Instructions to make Githeri mukimo:
- Add already cooked Githeri in a sufuria of water and bring it boil
- Add peeled potatoes in the boiling Githeri. Cook until the potatoes are fully cooked.
- Drain the water from the mixture of Githeri and the potatoes. Mash using a masher or a mwiko until the are fully mashed.
- Fry onions and add the mashed mukamo. Mix until the mukimo is cooperated with the fried onions.
- Remove from heat and serve while hot.
