- Mutton masala
- Marinate the mutton with salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and lemon juice for 1/2 hr. Place a pan on the stove, pour some oil. Add the chopped onion and sauté it, when it becomes light brown, add ginger, garlic, green chilli paste. then add the chopped tomato,masala powders, mutton and salt. cook it for 20 minutes. or can pressure cook.
- Rice ; Soak the rice for 10 minutes and drain it. Place a vessel on stove pour some ghee, fry the cashew nuts, kismis, and onion and keep it aside. put some cinnamon, bay leaves, star anise,fry it pour 6 glasses of water and add salt and lemon juice and cook the rice
- Setting of biryani - Take 2-3 clean banana leaves…smear some ghee, place a layer of rice,then mutton masala and then rice. pour some ghee and garam masala in between. close the leaves and make the shape of kizhi and tie it tightly. place the kizhi inside the steam cooker and steam it for 15 minutes. serve it hot and enjoy
