  2. Take 50 grams Aam papad
  3. You need as required raisins
  4. Provide 1/2 tsp each red chilli powder and Kashmiri red chilli powder

  1. Deseed the dates, chop aam papad into small pieces.
  2. Soak tamarind in water for 10-15 mins. Squeeze the pulp. Strain and keep aside.
  3. Now grind dates, raisins and aam papad together, add little water and make a smooth paste. Strain the pulp to get a smooth paste.
  4. Now take a pan add oil, then add cumin seeds and allow it to crackle. Once it crackles, add the paste and keep mixing well.
  5. Add all the dry spices, then add the tamarind paste. If needed add little sugar/jaggery as per your taste.
  6. Once it gets thick, switch off the flame and allow it to cool. We love thick chutney you can add little more water to get a thinner one.
