  1. Put toor dal in a mixing bowl adding water,wash two to three times then soaked it for half an hour in the mixing bowl.
  2. Then put it in the pressure cooker adding water and salt after heating give two to three cities and turn off the oven and keep aside.
  3. Now keep all ingredients near to you. after heating the pan, put required oil to the pan once the oil is boiled put all vegetables to the pan and saute it for few minutes,put turmeric powder salt to the pan,next add little water to the pan for half boiling the veggies.
  4. Next add tamarind pulp mix well and keep cover with the lid.for few minutes then add toor dal to the pan,give it a nice mix,add required hot water to the pan.
  5. Now add kashmiri red chilli powder and black pepper powder to the pan,
  6. Mix well then add sambhar masala to the pan and keep stirring,and it should be continued few more times, and nice aroma comes out from the sambhar dal.
  7. Take another small pan for tempering the dal,
  8. Put ghee once boil add mustard seeds next add jeera,then red chilli,hing, and curry leaves keep stirring
  9. Now put it to the dal, mix well, keep few more times to the oven
  10. After that tasty sambar dal is ready
