- Pressure cook Kabuli Chana in cooker.Close the lid and pressure cook till 5-6 whistles.Off the flame when done.Open the lid and check that channa are soft or not.If not then pressure cook them again till 2-3 whistles.
- Off the gas and open the lid.
- In a pan heat oil. Add grinded masalas, dry pomegranate seeds, dhania, jeera powder, red chilli powder, Haldi powder and salt.
- Stir the masalas. Roast for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and stir and mix with the masalas.
- Close the lid and let the tomatoes turn into soft gravy. Let it cook for few minutes.
- Cook till the oil oozes out from the gravy on the sides.
- Mix the gravy and masala well. Add boiled chole and mix it with gravy.
- Let it cook for few minutes till thick gravy formed.
- Off the flame.
- Transfer the Chole into serving dish and serve Piping hot with Puri or Batura or Nan.
